Dispensary Activities

As part of the Swachhata Pakhawada 2026 celebrations, a Health Check-up Camp was organized at Dispensary Navrangpura on 12th and 13th February 2026 for contractual workers, including housekeeping staff, horticulture staff, canteen staff, and R.O. water & sundry service staff.

The primary objective of the camp was to prevent lifestyle diseases, monitor physical and mental health, and promote overall well-being through the adoption of healthy lifestyle practices.

A total of 95 contractual workers benefited from this health initiative. This initiative significantly contributed to promoting preventive healthcare and reinforcing the spirit of Swachhata Pakhawada 2026 by emphasizing health, hygiene, and wellness among the workforce.

Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Camp was organized on 17th & 18th November 2025. 250 beneficiaries were vaccinated.

As a part of the Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 initiative and under the action plan of Safai Mitra Suraksha Shivirs, a comprehensive Health Check-Up Camp was organized for contractual workers at the Navrangpura Dispensary. The camp aimed to provide diagnostic and preventive health care services, focusing on early detection of common health issues and lifestyle-related disorders.

The camp was conducted over two consecutive days (6th & 7th Oct), divided into four sessions, with each session accommodating a group of 24–25 workers to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.

A total of 95 contractual workers benefited from this health initiative. The camp served as an important step towards ensuring the well-being of frontline sanitation and support staff by providing access to preventive healthcare and health education.

To commemorate National Voluntary Blood Donation Day 2025, a blood donation camp was organized at Navrangpura Dispensary on 01st October 2025 in association with Sarvoday Charitable Trust Blood Centre, Ahmedabad. 42 Blood donors had donated blood at the camp.

Health check-up of Contractual workers (Housekeeping workers, Gardeners, Labourers etc.) was organized at PRL Dispensary, Navrangpura during Swachhata Pakhwada 2025 (1-15 February).

In this health check-up several key aspects were included like checking vital parameters (temperature, pulse rate, blood pressure, respiration rate) and clinical examination, pulmonary function test, blood sugar test, sensitization for healthy habits.

This activity was carried out over 6-7 days in which group of 8-10 workers attended dispensary on allotted day.

Total 68 contractual workers benefited from this health check-up program.

Blood Donation Camp was organized at Thaltej Dispensary on 10th January 2025 in association with Sarvoday Charitable Trust Blood Centre, Ahmedabad. 52 Blood donors had donated blood.
