A two-ribbon 2b flare was observed in Hale Plage Region No.16740 at arounnd 0630 UT which grew very rapidly on both sides of the plage P along the filament F. It reached its maximum phase at around 0750 UT. Corresponding to this flare a very strong flux in X-ray was observed by SMS-GOES satellite. It also gave rise to strong SID of importance 2. Both type II and IV radio bursts in metric and decametric bands were reported. The two-flare-ribbons showed a considerable velocity of separation.
