An intense class 1 limb flare appeared around 0525 UT in Hale No. 16740 , Surrounding this flare mound, a loop developed which subsequently rose and fragmented into thin filamentary loops, which finally faded out completely. A very faint loop system joining the following plage region with the preceding spot was also seen.
