Active region, Hale No. 16344, was followed during its disk passage in the SERF (Study in Energy Release in Flares) interval. This region gave rise to a number of flares. Sequence here shows a (near) limb-flare, around 0214 UT on October 4, from the flare mound, bright material rose upward and formed a bright loop. The loop then faded gradually around 0315 UT.
