The 'Thaltej workshop', an extended facility of PRL Workshop, is engaged in serving the mechanical fabrication requirements of the scientific divisions, located at the Thaltej campus of the Physical Research Laboratory (PRL), Ahmedabad.

It is also extending support to activities of PRL Workshop, as and when required.

The experimental research objectives of PRL are achieved through ground and space based instrumentation. The Thaltej workshop realizes these ground and spaceborne instrumentation, through it's team, while using it's fleet of machine tools.
