The aim of New Initiatives in Fundamental science Experiments (NIFE) is to bring experts in the field of particle physics, atomic and nuclear physics, astronomy and cosmology, and condensed matter physics in a single platform for discussing ideas on dark matter detection, sub-millimeter astronomy, neutrino observations, high energy cosmic ray detection and precision experiments using both the ground based and space based facilities.

Topics of Interest:
  • Testing fundamental physics with satellite borne atomic clocks
  • Dark matter detection with satellite and terrestrial experiments
  • Terrahertz wave astronomy in space and ground based telescopes
  • Table-top experiments for testing fundamental symmetries
