With an intent of bringing together the Astronomy & Astrophysics community of India, the Young Astronomers' Meet was first organized by NCRA/IUCAA in the Spring of 1992. Over the years it has been organized by various institutes of India setting a foundation for interactions over diverse topics and sowing the seeds for nationwide collaboration. This year YAM is hosted by Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad in the month of September. It is a 5 day programme where students will present their research work via talk or poster. There would also be one invited talk each day by an expert. Interested PhD students (only those who would not have submitted their thesis until 24 Sep 2018) can apply online in any of the fields mentioned below. There is no registration fee for YAM-2018.
