A cloud of mass appeared to have condensed over the SE-limb (S 42 E 84) on December 23,1978 at 0611 UT,which gradually diffused away as seen at 0733 UT frame.After a lapse of about 3.5 hours, a mass ejection occurred at the same location at 1115 UT. A large jet of material got ejected out at a highly inclined trajectory along the limb.Both the events were associated with metric band type III radio bursts.
