Prior Research Experience :
A multi-wavelength study of Coronal Mass Ejections (CMESs): carried out at
UDAGAMANDALAM, TAMILNADU during JULY 5TH-AUGUST 13TH, 2010.
I have attempted to synthesize the current state of knowledge of the properties of CMEs in a multiwavelength  perspective, along with some specific observed characteristics involving frequency-height measurements. I have discussed about X-ray, radio and UV observations borne out of analysis of an event that occurred on the 23rd August of 2005.

The aspects of Reconfiguration of the corona in the EUV, X-Ray, Radio regimes are also dealt with and the signature of CME i.e. a Type II Burst is analyzed for three separate events occurring on 2004/01/07, 2005/07/27, 2005/08/23 and frequency is measured as a function of height for these events and plots for the same are made and compared with the standard curves. The study on the aspect of multiwavelength CM analysis was possible owing to the ease of programming in the programming language of IDL. The gamut of aspects pertaining to the multiwavelength nature could be studied, visualized by running movies of .fits formatted files procured from the database archives of some of the major observatories.

Study on the Thermal Structure of Middle Atmosphere using SABER/TIMED: carried out
at SPACE PHYSICS LABORATORY (SPL), VIKRAM SARABHAI SPACE CENTRE
(VSSC), Trivandrum during Aug 2009.
A Detailed and systematic analysis was carried out for middle atmospheric temperature  distribution obtained from SABER (Sounding the Atmosphere using Broadband Emission Radiometry) over a period between Jan 2002   Dec 2008. Algorithms were developed to analyze the temperature data; Simulation for FFT has been carried out to extract the dominant periodicity using MATLAB.

Comparative study of spectral signatures of various geographic features: Carried out at
NATIONAL REMOTE SENSING CENTRE, HYDERABAD, during Jan 2009.
Observations of reflectance from various earthly features like vegetation, soil, water, sand, etc., were made in the NRSC campus using the spectroradiometer and the spectral signatures for these objects were plotted and compiled systematically. Digital satellite images were also analyzed and classified using the image processing software.
