About Cyber Security Mock Drills
Cyber Security Mock Drill (CSMD) is an inter-centre activity of ISRO meant to train the IT per- sonnal and to secure the ISRO/DOS IT infrastructure. CSMD is carried out in levels ranging from Level-1 to Level-3. CSMD Level-1 was performed on the clone website of all DOS/ISRO websites. CSMD Level-2 is similar to Level-1 but it was performed on Live websites. CSMD Level-2 has been performed in two rounds; Round-1 and Round-2. Level-3 was dedicated to checking the perimeter network of entire DOS/ISRO centres. Being a member of CSMD and IIIP 1 , I have contributed in all three levels of CSMD where I have performed vulnerability assessment and penetration test- ing (VAPT) on many websites of DOS/ISRO. I have also prepared documentation on important commands for the Cyber Security Mock Drill Level-2 which is still being used during CSMD. The CSMD has contributed a lot to secure the DOS/ISRO IT infrastructure. Some of the notable websites where I have performed VAPTs are;
