Our first images with the SIRIUS / IRSF - 25th June 2002
Observations with SIRIUS/IRSF during June 25 to 1st July and 9th to 15th July 2002 at the SAAO.
First reduced images from the survey of the Galactic Inner Molecular Ring.
3x3 raster with 10 frames dither combined per location. The above is the H band
view of the region centered on 17:45, -28:00
The seeing was typically sub-arcsec and each dot in the above is a star not
a 'bad pixel' or cosmic ray hit... Talk about crowded fields!
