A high resolution heterodyne receiver system is being developed for rotational spectroscopic studies. This versatile system will be used to study spectroscopic behaviour of atmospherically important polyatomic molecules. Presently it is planned to study the intense rotational line of nitrogen dioxide at 699.0087 GHz.
