Online Short Courses on “Planetary Science” and “Solar Physics”
Applications are invited for two online short courses on “Planetary Science” (May 15-19, 2023) and “Solar Physics” (May 22-26, 2023) to be conducted by Physical Research Laboratory (PRL), Ahmedabad under the auspices of Center for Space Science and Technology Education in Asia and the Pacific (CSSTEAP), affiliated to the United Nations.
The objective of the courses is to create an understanding of the basics and current research trends in the fields of Planetary Science and Solar Physics.
Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, (B.E./ B. Tech.) in Electronics and allied fields / Environmental Science/Engineering can also apply for these courses.
Applicants having teaching or research experience would be preferred. Since the courses will be conducted in English, the applicant should have proficiency in English language.

For the course on “Planetary Science”, applicants should have a Master’s degree in Physics/Geology/Atmospheric Science or other equivalent qualification relevant to Planetary Science. For the course on “Solar Physics”, applicants should have a Master’s degree in Physics/Astronomy/Astrophysics/Solar Physics/Meteorology or other equivalent qualification relevant to Space Science.Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, (B.E./ B. Tech.) in Electronics and allied fields / Environmental Science/Engineering can also apply for these courses.
