Objective:

The objectives of the PLANETARY SCIENCES AND EXPLORATION Programme are to conduct Theoretical, Observational and Experimental developments for research activities related to Planetary objects like Sun, Planets, Moons, Asteroids and Comets.

Research:

1. Design and Development of High Energy X-Ray Payload for Chandrayan-1
2. Design and Development of Alpha Particle Induced X-Ray Spectrometer, Low Energy X-Ray Spectrometer, Gamma Ray Spectrometer and Wireless Sensor Network for future planetary exploration
